Here are the details:
1. Once I receive all of your order information, I will send you an invoice by your preferred method (email, PayPal, fax, or US Mail) for a non-refundable 10% deposit.
2. Once I receive your deposit, I will choose the shape of the canvas and the colors of the paints I will use. While I always keep in mind requests regarding color and canvas shape, those choices are part of my creative process and will ultimately be chosen based on my intuition to enhance the appearance of the painting.
3. Within two weeks, I will send you by mail a sample of the colors to be used, and I will indicate the chosen canvas shape. The colors in the portrait will be limited to those sent in the sample. I will also send an invoice for the remaining portion of the non-refundable deposit (40%, for a total deposit of 50%, via method in item 1).
4. Once you have received the sample, I will need a confirmation that you still intend to have the painting commissioned. Your payment of the second invoice fulfills your confirmation.
5. I will begin your painting within 24 hours of receiving this second payment. While the drying time for acrylic paintings is considerably shorter than for oils, the painting still needs to set up for two weeks before I can apply the varnish. After the three coats of varnish are applied, the painting needs to set up for another three weeks before the work can be packaged and shipped.
6. Prior to shipping, I will send a digital photo of the finished portrait. Please know that the colors in the photo may not accurately reflect the depth and beauty of the painting as seen in person.
7. A final invoice will will be sent for the balance as mentioned above. Upon receipt of the final payment, I will ship your Spiritual Portrait and provide you with a tracking number.
8. Finally, I encourage you to frame the portrait and hang it in a place where you can see it often that it may add beauty and joy to your life.
